The Frozen Belt is the term for the southern region of Northrealm that exists in the wake of the Spine Range. The Spine Range's (unnatural) rise causes the warmer winds of the south to be elevated up and over the region, rendering it extremely cold in comparison to neighbouring territories.
Typically considered to be centered on Delwynvale, the region stretches east (including the Forsaken Forest) to the ocean and the edge of the Dead Steppes, and west to the edge of the more temeprate plains. The northern edge is marked by Bilberry Hearth, and the northwestern side gives way to the marshlands before Valdrent . While certainly not any warmer a region, the Frostfangs mark a northeastern edge of the belt.
